About Marcus Wong
I have been running since I was in middle school, and it has become a favorite hobby of mine. So many people have been there to support me and navigate the highs and lows of life that it sometimes makes me take for granted the overflowing love that friends and family give. However, there are a large number of people who do not have people to depend upon and instead are faced with manipulation or danger throughout their middle school and high school lives. God has blessed me with a wonderful life, and I want to use the gifts that he has given me to help raise money and find ways to reach those who are struggling. Those who are unable to rely on teachers, family and teammates to support them in their interests and beliefs. I would love your support for these at-risk youth through prayers of assistance and love to these youth and if possible, donations to help fundraise for this amazing cause. Hope for San Diego helps to support these children who are often part of foster, refugee or struggling families through familial support groups, providing resources these children need and offering refugee tutoring.
